I'm nearly 100% certain that Moyes would have had a say in the prices.

Their board wouldn't not ask the former manager of those players for his opinions.

I know, but at the end of the day it is the board who put the bid in....so they can either be disrespectful or not....and they were....

Moyes knows the club finances better than all of us on here, he knows how badly we are run. He will use that to his advantage and play us like a piano.

That I´m not worried about. You´d be hard pressed to find anyone more ham handed in transfer market than the great David Moyes. Even with all that dosh, I don´t think that will change.

What I was trying to say is...how do you know moyes told them to make a late disrespectful bid on their two best players...I thought the norm was to list your transfer targets with some priority and then let the board sort it out....Obviously he said he wanted them FFS...but how to go about it I don't think he has that much say....

He's a very controlling type of manager mate. Trust me, he'll be having a massive influence on how it's playing out.

One of Moyes best ability is working in the transfer market, which is why Man u wanted him so cannot see them not asking Moyes for his valuations.

Not to mention his inside info from being with us.

"Ok Davey, what price would you and BK have sold for?"

Simple as that.

if roberto put an offer in now for rooney and van persie for something like 10m plus tony hibbert he would go down as a legend in my eyes no matter what else he does. moyes is a complete **** and anyone that cheers him on his return needs to have a long look at themselves.

Well if he did....He is more of a Cvnt than I thought he was....at what point in his time with us do you think he thought he was to good for us?

Depends how you look at it. He's doing what is best for his current employer, which apparently means trying to shaft his previous one.

He shouldn't have to look out for what's best for us really. Just makes him an utter....erm... swear word.

Yeah, end of the day it's business, but it damn well sucks.
