[Poor language removed] off this little brother/big brother thing we have going with United, they're taking the piss out of us here after taking our manager away in such derogatory fashion.

The only thing United are good for now are pissing the RS off, I'd actually rather see City or Chelsea win the title over them now, never thought I'd say that.

A joke of a bid from United, we'd already rejected £12m for Baines, so presumably they upped that to at least £13m? Which leaves the Fellaini bid at £15m, which is pathetic.

I hope Kenwright laughed in their faces & told them not to bother coming back unless it was daft money. Their value is at least £40m imo, so to get us to sell against our wishes, then any bid need to be higher than that.

Moyes has gone down massively in my estimations after this stunt. Does he not remember his own valuation on Baines from just last summer? Or how livid he was at City for doing exactly the same thing over Lescott? Poor form this.

People banging on about how they are losing respect for Moyes... Get serious. Do you think he cares?

Whenever a release clause is placed in a contract the player and his agent tries to negotiate that value
down whilst ideally the club tries to make sure that the price is as high possible. So if the release clause was indeed £23.5m, it can be argued that it is actually less then what he is worth... but in order to get the player to sign a contract extension you compromise.

Now that the clause has expired, if Kenwright had any spine, he would decline an offer of even £23.5m, as realistically he is worth more than that in the open market. The £23.5m million is the negotiated price.

Utd didn't activate the release clause in the hope of landing their true transfer targets. (Cesc etc..)

The cynic in me believes that these bids are coming in low to get Kenwright to second guess the true value of the players.

Don't be weak BK. Factor in the players true value, Utd's depression and that there are only 2 weeks left in the window. Sell for overs!!!

28m in one immediate payment, plus Anderson and Büttner and it's a deal for me.

Never seen this buttner play is he any good?

And more like £35 mill plus the 2 of them. they need a midfielder more than we need the cash...

Like other posters here I wish the club would publicly announce a piss-take bid as a sign of our annoyance. They won't, though.

This all day long.

But you know, I know, everybody on here knows, at least one of them is off now, which will give us a week to get a like-for-like () replacement in. Sad but true. Can you imagine us getting 17m for Fellaini then spending 15m on McCarthy? Pass me the bleach now.

We might as well give up if we accept anything less than 25m for Fellaini and 20m for Baines. Infact, look at the Red****e and learn from them for ones. Put a NOT FOR SALE message up on the OS and just ignore anything else that comes from United unless it's a combined 40m+ straight cash deal, and a deadline of Friday or something.

Can you imagine us selling 10+ goal a season and all-round excellent footballer Fellaini for 15m for one-tricky pony 20 goal a season Gareth Bale goes for... five/six times the price?

Tell you what, if I was a Utd fan, I would be seriously unimpressed by the way Moyes/Utd have gone about their business this window. Mucking about with Fabregas, now this; just not how they have gone about things in the past, when they identified a player, and BANG, get them, by and large.

Please god tell me you're not trying to say Fellaini is better than Bale with those two epithets

**** Utd and **** Moyes

I hope we tell the cheeky bunch of weapons to do one, I would be love the club to tell Utd they will no longer deal with them regarding transfers

Grow a set of bollocks Everton

It's what should happen but we all know it won't.

And I bet all the daft b@st@rds who gave Moyes a heroes send off are regretting it now.
