I want us to win today but, as Bob says, it's better our neighbours win the league with our help, rather than without it. Besides, the romantic in me thinks it would be nice for those who lost loved ones to have something to celebrate on the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough. I don't care how dyed-in-the-blue-wool you are, you'd have to be very hard-hearted not to have that thought somewhere in the back of your mind.

We basically lay down for them in the 89 cup final, for the anniversary we have to hand them the league too?

Not in my name.

"I repeat, it will be the biggest shock in recent football history if these mongrels get a point off City. I will be stunned beyond belief, if it's a draw when i check the full time score. They are going to be lambs to the slaughter.

[Poor language removed] our lives for having to rely on them. Best of health to anyone who will be putting themselves through the pain of watching this."

^ Direct quote from RAWK. Not very convincing, are they? and about as ironic a statement as you can get..

Here's another one (promise this will be the last):

"I hope the c***s get t*****d. Personally I want [word removed] all off of that shower of [Poor language removed].

The more they fail and wallow in our results, the more I know why they are such a bunch of spineless bitter gobshites."

Martinez: "It will be a special moment in the history of both clubs if Everton help neighbours to title".

Clueless.

This feller's really testing many blues' patience with this tripe The Mr Nice Guy routine taken too far and he's losing bucket loads of respect and support with every bit of nonsense he comes out with.

Absolutely clueless with that ridiculous comment, let's hope the players don't feel the same.

Ok so we did go up season they went down but not in reverse? Ok , only remember dad mentioning pain of relegation but sweet revenge when we came back up. Makes sense.

Just want to highlight this bit.

The Beatles ...

Did anyone actually hear Bob spout this bollox on TV or on radio?

Or are we just berating him on the basis of what it says in The Echo?
