Never felt so odd going into an Everton game. Should never have agreed to go watch it with a kopite and a manc.

Reverse psychology. No we've still got the Hull game to get the points for 5th + Europa. Oh sorry forgot you were talking about Liverpool on an Everton forum.

Correct. I think he took the view that they had played second fiddle for so long it was not just enough for them to improve and have a turn in the sun. It was also to see us become second fiddle full stop. Think them getting promoted while we were relegated in mid fifties and then process reversed when we came back up must have been tasty too. Haven't checked but I think that is what happened. Mainly Shankley's influence IMO though.
I did not know this and it's so how the RS work. Balls to it then. If City don't beat us that game will feature at least 3 penalties for them.Oh, just in case it's been forgotten, Crystal Palace/Liverpool is refereed by Clattenburg. So anyone hoping we could beat City and Palace can pull off the upset later as an ideal scenario may as well leave that fantasy at the door.
A McCarthy backpass today into the path of Drogb--sorry, Aguero, would be quite amusing
I change my mind every 5 minutes. Really want GP to be buzzing one last time in what has been a really enjoyable season. But the thought of them winning the title makes me ill. But if I feel good at us losing and then Arsenal lose...... Noooooo!!
Ok so we did go up season they went down but not in reverse? Ok , only remember dad mentioning pain of relegation but sweet revenge when we came back up. Makes sense. It wasn't quite like you say.

I want us to win today but, as Bob says, it's better our neighbours win the league with our help, rather than without it. Besides, the romantic in me thinks it would be nice for those who lost loved ones to have something to celebrate on the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough. I don't care how dyed-in-the-blue-wool you are, you'd have to be very hard-hearted not to have that thought somewhere in the back of your mind.
