lol mate this was well different it was a perfectly weighted through ball, he even steadied himself before slotting it through to Drogba

I just think he's a poor holding player tbh, his passing has always been unreliable as hell, disguised by the occasional Hollywood ball.

Davek calls it earlier saying it opens the floodgates if they win the league and frankly they are set up to do so.

To live through their dominant years is to still carry the scars, those making out 4th is a money spinning cure-all or somehow balances the ensuing tornado of shte from across the park have no idea.

Those capable of ignoring them - good luck to you - but thinking it has no impact on us is a mistake.

The greater long term success is them over-reaching, failing and turning on each other like rabid dogs while Suarez goes or his form dips as we quietly carry on the Roberto revolution hopefully exceeding this season next year.

Making out it's wanting them to fail ahead of us succeeding is to not understand the bigger picture .... and a load of bollocks.

Surely that post is just one massive contradiction then? You want what's best for the club and want us to close the gap, but you'd give up a CL place and the chance of the
NHot a contradiction at all. Are you smoney that brings, not to mention attracting better players if it meant them not winning the league?

It just sounds like the most backwards logic in the world to me.
Call it bitter if you want. I just call it local rivalry. I'd prefer they were out of existence never mind shrugging my shoulders at them picking up a title. I think it's strange not to feel that way.
They should of course have been driven out of existence after Heysel. Let's never forget the enormity of what happened there, any more than we should ever forget Hillsboro.

Today's saturated media coverage, a wankfest of tossers airing their wish that the RS win the league, has given an early taste of what lies in store for us should they win it. Why anyone should wish that upon themselves just so we can enjoy possibly one CL qualifier beats me.

I don't buy that at all, mate. They'll probably be at the level they're at now for a few years at least, as will Coty and Chelsea. Winning it this year wouldn't give them some sort of advantage in future seasons.

Not even if a defeat meant the RS got relegated?

Surely it depends on our situation if a win got us in the top 4 but a defeat got the rs relegated it would be an Everton win for me.

But if we loose we have the nice bonus of their relegation

"I'm sure that would be great for the area but I'm only concerned about us," Osman says. "Ask any Evertonian. We don't really care about the team across the park."

For Distin and Everton's players there is no dilemma; they are intent on marking Martínez's impressive first season as manager by qualifying for the Champions League for the first time since 2004-05. For some boyhood blues working at the club, however, it is a different matter.

The club's veteran, and astonished, central defender said: "We've spoken about it with some of the staff and said 'What if we have to beat City to be in the Champions League but by doing that Liverpool win the league?' The funny thing is some people would rather we don't get Champions League as long as they don't win the league. It's mad! Personally I'd rather be in the Champions League. You can't miss a chance for that. It would be amazing for the city if both clubs made it. I think deep down both sets of fans would like it if both clubs were in it."

Depends on how much you hate them, if you were raised by a red family and had red friends when the RS were at the peak of their success, I'd rather come nowhere than go through all their cockyness again, You can say I ain't a real fan but far from it, I love the club as much as anyone else, but I just can't stand their arrogance, so do one,.
