3 wins out of 12 after putting up with last season really isn't good enough to keep the wolves at bay. I can see why they would be becoming more frustrated the last time we won at home was two months ago now or six games and we're slipping downwards in the table.

I wish my fellow match going blues would applaud the apalling performances they've paid and travelled to see to enhance the enjoyment of the telly clappers. Shame on you all for daring to be displeased with highly paid players failing to complete the most basic of tasks.

Martinez buys the players, he picks the team, he is responsible for the tactics, the players get paid fortunes to carry out the managers instructions and the people who come in for criticism is the people who turn up and spend their hard earned money to see the team do well. Fans have a right to vent their anger, they pay for that right week in week out. They pay the wages of the manager and players, they are entitled to show displeasure when these people don't earn the money they are getting paid.

To me it is pure dumb spending your hard earned money to go and see your team win, and then act in a manner which is completely unhelpful to the team in their attempt to get that win.

Its even worse when the team of full of young players.

I was pondering this today, yes the players respond to the crowd, but can they crowd get excited about being schooled by Swansea and being in 12th?

no but as you put it yourself, you still clap that bunch of utter no-marks off the pitch no matter the result!

Give support during the game. Boo at the end if you are into that.

We all want to win, except for maybe Howard, and cutting out the booing and whinging can definitely help the team. Especially as they are a young team!

Should they be clapping them and singing their names with that sort of performance against a poor Swansea team. They get paid a fortune and they ain't doing a good job. They have every right to show there displeasure when they spend their hard earned money when you see the squad we have.

I can't for the life of me understand the Barkley unrest. He has a decent game, we concede a stupid goal then the next time he gets it there's the usual murmurs. I feel embarrassed for the fans who can't recognise what this lad brings and who generally make a whopper of themselves every week.

As for the general atmosphere, I've said it before and I'll say it again, the insistence of passing it round at the back bores everyone and any momentum we build up in the stands or on the pitch is completely lost. Remember under Moyes or Royle when for spells of 10/15 minutes we were invincible, crowd was roaring and the players feeding off that. You'll never get that with a Martinez team and it just leads to complete lethargy. That's before the actual results.....

We've won 11 home games in a season and a half. Conceding a ton of goals at home too

The reaction is pretty timid compared to some clubs
