I think I saw a stat today that said in the last 60 games, Martinez has a win ratio of 30%.

Tim Sherwood, that horrible lickspittle fraud who built the worst Villa side imaginable, had 35% with them.

It just cannot be good enough with the current squad, and the crowd are quite right to voice their opinions.

It's not as if we are this Jekyll and Hyde team that struggles against fan sentiment at home but destroys all before them away with the shackles off.

We won 7 at home last season and only 5 away.

We've won 3 at home this season and only 3 away, against Southampton (who even after a dismal run early season are now four points clear), Newcastle (utterly horrendous) and West Brom (who couldn't even beat Villa at home... but are one point behind us).

So to quote the manager 'we need to figure out how to win at home'... yes ok mate, but it's not like everytime we get on the Blue party bus away from L4 we are getting results either!

Should they be clapping them and singing their names with that sort of performance against a poor Swansea team. They get paid a fortune and they ain't doing a good job. They have every right to show there displeasure when they spend their hard earned money when you see the squad we have.

they are called that for a reason. do your job!

Our players are not doing great at their job either mind....

Pretty sure 99% of the fans at the ground will get behind the team the majority of the time.

Also pretty sure that if you didn't feel like booing them at the end of yet another inept and frustrating performance, you're probably more suited to watching cricket.

no thanks. cricket is crap

booing at the end is one thing.

booing during the game and whinging and shrieking at young players when they make a mistake is another.

I bet you looked like a walrus begging for a fish in Orlando you fat wap.

Despite what many claim on here I don't recall ever hearing this pervasive and loud booing during the match? Apart from at the half time whistle. Maybe I'm hard of hearing, or most people around where I sit are very positive. Guy behind me keeps saying "it's alright" every 2 minutes when we're losing, and "there's still time" when there clearly isn't.

Anyway it's also hard not to get nervous and whinge when we see the same risky tactics game after game, often resulting in trouble. Take that Stones incident from a few matches ago, do you stay and sit quietly throughout the longest 10 seconds of the match? You don't really think "oh he's a young lad let's cut him some slack" when it's happening in front of your eyes do you. Or when Ross is having a bad game (which is alright as his good ones far outweigh them), are you supposed not to moan when he misplaces his 5th simple pass in a row.

If the players can't cope with a bit of a moody crowd and let them affect their game then it's likely their problem, not the crowd's.

Let's face it there is nothing to get excited about passing it around for no apparent reason., we. Don't seem to get stuck in for any length of time.
Then just knowing that at some point the other team will score, to be honest I don't think the crowd really buy into this tippy happy style no matter how much we kid arselfs its the way to go, its not working and until results improve I don't think the crowd will
