I agree with the overall point you're making, but I presume we are still paying Sigurdsson's wages at the moment.
His wages wil be covered by insurance.

I have my doubts about whether the insurance company will agree that the policy covers circumstances such as these, but equally you could be right. His wages wil be covered by insurance.

It's hard to think of a worse one. Of course, transfer fee inflation makes comparisons difficult - for example, we spent £4.5M (I believe) on Slaven Bilic back in 1997 or thereabouts, and that was an absolute fortune then.Sigurdsson's total cost including wages is £80 million (assuming no sell on fee).
Does that make him the worst value transfer in our history?
Evertoon, Evertoon, Evertoon.Looking forward to spending James' wages on Sean Longstaff and Jamaal Lascelles.
NSNO.
I don't see how we don't get atleast a RB in January after the late departures of Kean and James.
I realize this is a joke, but they’re both streets ahead of Kenny. It depends what Yedlin or Manquillo are up to
The club has suspended him, this is often the case in employment when someone is being investigated for a crime that may reflect badly on the company or put the employee at risk from public reaction. As the person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law the suspension must be on full pay as they have done no wrong until proven otherwise.Do you think? It depends on the contract really but he isn't fulfilling the contract and isn't even listed as a squad player.
Theoretically if a player was in prison you would think a typical player contract would account for that as the contract to play couldn't be fulfilled?
Isn't the player we need to be replacing thoughI realize this is a joke, but they’re both streets ahead of Kenny.
I doubt that very much. His wages wil be covered by insurance.
Also, it's not so much can't as we don't want to.I doubt that very much.
Insurance to cover players wages unable to play would be insanely expensive to clubs. It would be such a risky policy for insureres that it would have to cost insane amounts.
