You would think for us to be spending that money on a LB, when we have a decent one, they already have an agreement in place with a club. Can see as soon as this deal is agreed, a huge sum for Digne pops up as being agreed in the tabloids

Well that's the key word really. After dropping him and airing all these grievances in public plus now apparently signing a replacement before he's gone we're in no position as a club to demand a lot of money. Can see him going out on loan myself.

If he goes out on loan then we’re in even deeper trouble FFP-wise as we don’t actually have that £20m we’ve just spent on the Ukrainian lad.

One of the best LB’s in the league that hasn’t performed is 2 years.
Quite literally a lie

He was the second most creative FB in the league in 19-20. Had 4 assists in 10 games before his injury last November. Still our second most creative player this season…

He’s been poor this season yeah, and he’s not been helped by the manager. It’s not hard to fathom.

If you were a club looking to sign Digne though, knowing what's gone on, with his likely big wages to shift, and his replacement already in the door would you offer a lot of money?

All we can hope is that there’s a couple of clubs competing for him and bidding against each other.

Coleman was an outstanding defender at peak, he used to basically play RW and sweeper at the same time under Martinez such was his pace and stamina, the amount of last ditch blocks and tackles he managed to get in after just being deep in the opposition half was crazy!
Digne has never been a defender though I’ll give you that.

Coleman has always been terrible at defending the amount of times he let players just run off him in the box is ridiculous. I genuinely used to think he was blind in his left eye. Is it martial whos scored the same goal against us about 3 times under martinez? Stay on Coleman left, wait for the cross, peel off and tap in at the far post.

He may of put last ditch takles in from time to time but as Maldini once said "if I have to make a tackle then I've already made a mistake".

The amount of times I've shouted "stop the cross!!!" At him and baines over the years must be in the thousands. While I watch them slowly jog up to players on the wing and lazily dangle a leg out as the ball loops over them.

Coleman was a superb attacking fullback, at his peak he was probably one of the best in europe and he was loyal to us very loyal more so then most players and I love him for that but he has always been kak defensively. Now he cant go past the halfway line anymore hes done as a player for me and because this club is a bloody mess we have to play the poor lad when he should be a good bench player but now hes a poor rb that we're running into the ground unfortunately.
