He was under contract in China so they were legally obliged to pay him off if they terminated his contract unless the rules are different there.

The whole thing went nuts. Loaned out, contract not renewed due to CFA rules etc.

….i think Richarlison is a top player. Everton fans always undersell their own players, I certainly believe him to be a more effective footballer than the likes of Grealish and Sancho.

I’d be wanting £80m+ for Richarlison.

Not sure about spending it all on new players, I’d like us to be within FFP limits at the end of this window.

For me, we often OVER value them! You and I have politely disagreed on Richarlison for years, I agree he can be great, but it is so intermittent I always question who'd have him

CB: New / Godfrey / Branthwaite / Welch
RB: New / New
DM: New / New
CM: Doucoure / Onyango
LW: Gray / Gordon
AM: Richarlison / Dobbin
RW: New / Townsend
CF: DCL / New / Simms

This Jan get Mykolenko, Right back and a defensive midfielder.

The rest in summer

For the keeper position, I don’t think there will be any changes unless Pickford is sold to Spurs.

At LB, I have a feeling Nkounkou will be sold. He won’t want to come back and be a reserve. We may need another player here.

At CB, Keane is going nowhere. Mina may move on, I’m not sure about Holgate.

At RB, Coleman is here for another season, hopefully as backup to a new player.

At CM, Gomes will still be here, but Allan may get sold. Davies may see out his contract. Will need one or possibly two here. Rumoured to want an attacking CM.

The attacking forwards will be a mixture of Townsend, Gray, Gordon and Richarlison.

The strikers could be DCL and Simms. Dobbin looks like he is leaving. Broadhead may also get a chance.

I’d take 50 for richi

It is an interesting point, if he produced as often as other teams great players, he'd be worth big money , he has it in him, however, the games where he is totally ineffective (perhaps 50%) and sulking throwing himself to the floor (vewwy woughly), just make his value plummet imo.

I agree with all of these still being here, not all as starters, but as back-up or due to contract/lack of buyers
