Agreed. Nobody joins Newcastle whilst they are staring down the barrel of relegation unless they are after a payday. I think Digne puts playing for his country above that. Half a season of relegation then potentially a full season in the Championship takes Digne off the French plane to Qatar. He won't risk that.
 
Seems like it's almost a done thing thst Digne is leaving and Mylenko replacing him, 6 years younger - likely to be on less then half the wages and we should turn at least 5-10m profit over the two deals.

Honestly that's good business especially given our FPP problems. The guy seems to suit the system Benetez wants better than Digne anyways.

Of other stuff I've either heard or seen stuff about.
'supposedly' trying to offload Iwobi and some interest at a fee I'd bite hands off to receive, Mina possibly out too.

Most if the incoming rumours just seem like agents bs or rehased lazy jounalists running rehased pieces from the past.

Patterson is interesting thst hunters ran with it though, so hope thst has some truth. One that is interesting for me is the young Georgian lad at Kazan, he has absolutely shedloads of potential - for what numbers are being floated around (12-15m) I'd a million percent be all over that, seen him a fair bit, still very hit and miss but seems to be starting to produce more often thsn not in games lately, reminds me a fair bit of Ronaldo in his first season at united (minus the throwing himself down twenty times a game act), when he's on though the lads pretty much unplayable vs .

I think @Eggs posted a vid in the summer of that Kazan kid and he looked decent. Come to think of it, I think the video was posted a few days ago as well.

Class fist choice box to box midfielder. And have longstaff as 5th choice behind Onyango

He's linked with West Ham not us lately.
