They have different priorities to us. He might suit them as an attacking defender who can be put in the U23s for a season or so. Hell of a lot more money to throw at it too.

Just listened in on a Twitter spaces discussing our transfers. The bobble was on and said we are trying to get Patterson in on installment which Rangers are resistant to. Currently being negotiated. He also said Benitez wants a no. 10 but doesn't believe we are currently in negotiations with anyone for that position. Said we have scouted O'Hara of Coventry City.

He's orchastrated it from the off right down to offing the medical staff.

Don't be surprised if we sign a bunch of completely off the radar players (like this left back) that he'll have lined up for a while to complete his Masterpiece.

He's basically a male Cersi Lannister from Game of Thrones.

The silver lining is that he has no money, if he gets shot of all the deadwood and only wastes minimal money on replacements while keeping us in the league… at least the next manager will won’t be as shackled as they would if brands is still here. If he manages to oust kenwright then I wouldn’t be against building a statue of Rafael outside the new ground tbh

I have never heard or seen him play but feel comfortable saying that he would walk into our first team and probably end up as captain

Have no idea about the Coventry lad. Bobble said we've watched multiple times and spoke highly of him. Might throw on a coventry match to see for myself.

I have no idea if he is any good but the last youth player we signed from Coventry was basalla sambou who was actually decent in our under 23 squad and bagged a few goals. I thought he would eventually make the step up like Simms has but I think he was released and he joined fortuna sittard in the eredivisie and is on loan to a danish side called randers.

Think Lingard would be a terrific coup if Benitez could manage to get him, surely he can’t be happy being a bit part player, Moyes would want him back at West Ham but he might prefer to stay in the North West.
