It looks like next summer we'll need to extend a few contracts which may well eat up a large amount of the savings made on the out of contract players.

….well, he’s certainly not a DoF in the definition of the role we know. He’s on the board & carries authority but he admits himself that Benitez has to give the green light on signings. Benitez brings players in and there are examples of Moshiri doing the same.

I think Brands is a waste of a wage.

We really need to sell deadwood next summer in advance of contracts expiring soon after and also extend starters deals for longevity.

We cant keep letting players run out their deals...its really poor management from Brands.

Well he broke Newcastles transfer record on Almiron, so lets hope hes never allowed free reign.
