he's the type of player Benitez's system needs in that central position if it is to work though. So hopefully we do go for someone in that mould but younger.

He did miss a couple of good opportunities in the match I watched. Tried to chip the keeper when he was off his line, and the keeper caught it. Also was basically 1v1 with the keeper and shot it right at him. Maybe something he'll improve, maybe not. We may not even be interested, just piqued my interest when I heard bobble say we've watched him.

So id like:

DM/CM: Kamara or Tchouameni
RW: Antony
CB: Badiashile

Alternatively id be happy with Tsygankov at RW and Zakarnyi at CB to continue the Ukrainian theme.
 
Zat, I would love to get Antony but he's way out of our league. I'm a huge Ajax fan as well and I can tell you this about Antony:
- Ajax will only sell him for BIG money
- When he will leave, it will be for one of the big teams in Europe.

Before we start to identify potential new players, we should first get our gameplan ready. The last few months we totally lqck one and I have no clue what type of players Benitez is aiming for. Sure, we do need a new RB but do we want an offensive, ballplaying one or an outright defender? No idea... I really hope Benitez has a game plan. So far, I don't see it yet
