Oh Dave, surely even Benitez wouldn't go with that back 4. We'd certainly know all about scrapping it out down in the relegation zone.

I'd happily 'use' Newcastle to take Keane and Holgate for a £30mil premium...to go with Digne and Mina's £50mil elsewhere.

Bring in Mykolenko, Patterson, Ramsay and a centre back (or two) to rebuld the defence.

We'd still be way up due to the FFP format and ready for summer midfield improvements.

It would show a creativity in Everton transfer policy that's been lacking for a long time.

I would not be overly against it, but Ramsay I have doubts about. But in general I'd be for this approach.

Selling to anyone below us now is stupid esp in the Jan window when it's hard to get quality players in. If we were 6 points better off I'd think it an OK idea maybe

Coleman, anyone, even Kenny looked less of a liability, if you mean Colly, the Gambian, he’s not in Mina's league, Branthwaite for Keane, I know nothing about the Ukrainian, he could be Ray Wilson Mark 2 , or Cuco Martinez Mark 2 for all I or you know.
