Him and his agent generated his move away
Like I’ve said in the past this whopper had a career threatening injury whilst on England duty.Everton stood by him and he behaved the way he did. Let him rot somewhere else please.
I generally agree with you on most things but not on this.

…so you’d like him but you don’t want him?

Barkley lacks discipline on and off the pitch, he’s slow, he’s another with no powers of recovery when the opposition goes past him, he’s on big bucks, I don’t think playing football matters to him anymore. he’s insulted us once and he’s had a very serious hamstring injury that I guarantee will reappear.

We really need better than him. I’m not sitting on any fence, there’s surely a better signing out there than him.

So you accept that Barkley actually was injured and unable to play?

Why would Chelsea, or anyone for that matter, sign a player that was injured and unable to play?

People are acting like Barkley fabricated his injury to do Everton out of money. The injury was real, and he could have left for free if he'd waited a few more months.

There is no talk about fabrication of an injury. The fact is he turned down a move on deadline day as he wanted to reassess his options then moved to the same club a couple of days after the next transfer window opened. He ran his contract down by six months meaning Everton took a £20m hit.
 

Those not wanting Barkley but backing Rafael need to give your head a wobble. FYI I dont want either but I cant choose and have no say.....

Looking at the scorers today, Vlasic for WHU and Lookman for Leicester yet we are stuck with Davies, Tosun, Iwobi, Rondon and the rest of the turds. Life is cruel!

Are they the facts? My understanding was he went for a medical and Chelsea decided to leave it because he was injured. I don't believe Chelsea were gagging to sign him, but Barkley was saying "No, please don't buy me now, wait until January so I can save Mr Abramovich a few quid".

He knocked his summer deal on the head cos they'd get him in Jan and he'd get a big signing on fee and a reduced transfer fee. Was all agreed by their sporting director

I doubt he had any say about it to be honest, his agent would have done it. Let's face it he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.
On the other hand he's an adult and he can make his own mind up.
