Longstaff has probably had 2 good games in his lifetime.
And no he isnt better than Delph or Gbamin at all.
It’s like swapping Tom Davies for another Tom Davies, except one of them looks like Grayson Perry and the other doesn’t.

Didn't they hit Wolves like 2-3 years ago for it?
Is he?!Playing well for a feller on bail for sexual assault
Nothing is free in football you absolute lunatic.
He'll have a signing on fee, wages of 40k+ a weeks and would want atleast a 3 year contract, which cost the club MILLIONS of pound for a player who's only ever going to be a bench player IF we had loads of injuries.
So in reality they have only lifted the ban they put in place to stop Newcastle breaching fair & market rates rules.Premier League confirm they will lift sponsorship ban

If we pay Sean Longstaff £50k a week then we have literally learned nothing from the past 5 years. Its all relative - Sean Longstaff on a free transfer and 50k wages is infinitely cheaper than **insert CM name here** signed for £10-20 million on 50k a week wages.
You're still missing the crux of the issue that the club have posted massive losses due to the last 2 DOF's wasting millions upon millions therefore we have to wheel and deal to avoid FFP trouble which inevitably means the odd non inspiring signing like Townsend and Longstaff coming in to plug holes in the squad.
Crying about it and hammering the player before he even signs/kicks a ball for us is scandalous behaviour imo.

Yeah, but wolves didn't break premier league rules. Nobody has ever done it. The equivalent is EFL rules where pretty much every club failing has had points deductions. My understanding is that UEFA hit Wolves with a punishment not worth talking about, the PL simply ignored it, I believe.
Delete the name Sean Longstaff
Insert the name Salomon Rondon
Gray is good and got him through a clause in his contract.Delete the name Sean Longstaff

….why are posters who offer reasoned views about not signing a player ‘bedwetters’? Posters who resort to name calling when they are a bit lost.
Very informed opinion regarding Barkley and Longstaffe from Everton fans who don’t want to see us relegated.
Gray is good and got him through a clause in his contract.
Rondon & Longstaff are both mightly poo.
Have you learned nothing.
You really are missing the point. Not according to many on here when he signed.
A lesson in giving a new signing a chance before slating them because they aint a fancy name or didnt cost £20 million.
