They don’t even want to pay a loan fee lol.
Haven’t heard anything myself but I could hazard a guess in saying that it’s a Turkish team that want him and don’t want to pay a loan fee or any of his wages. I really don’t know why anyone deals with them. Cheekiest sods in football but always seem to get away with it with us as we are run by a bunch of dipsticks

I posted this in the Mykolenko thread and am interested in who posters would sign in the u23 age group under £20mil that we could attract at left back:

Mykolenko is 6th of course, and Alt-Nouri who i thought we should sign before he went to Wolves for €11mil is in 7th.

Also heres the u21 list for right backs with Patterson at 61st:

Same question, who would be your preferred right back signing for a similar or lower fee in the same age bracket?

I'd have Joe Scally all day long.

know nothing about him - boss name.

Generally I would agree but he is extremely good at what he does. I'm fine with having a no.9 who is good in the air and more of a box striker. But there is no system that can work with a target man and a traditional no.10. There is no one there to carry the ball and stretch the pitch in that system.

Target man is a bit harsh on DCL as well. He's a lot better than that.
His finishing is poor for a premier league striker. He literally is a target man.

Good teams don't play with a no 10. That position doesn't have a place in the Premier league these days. You need fast forwards who can carry the ball at their feet and interchange across the front line.
Disagree. A no10 can still work very well in the premier league and exactly what we have been missing. Someone that can link the play between midfield and our forwards.

Richarlison’s contract runs to 2024. We dont want to wait until 2023 when he can run his contract out.

Best value for him will be selling 2022.
Unless we are sensible and extend his contract in the next six months to summer 2025. Thus allowing us to sell him in summer 2023 with a couple of years left on his contract and the club already partially straightened out, as per my previous comments.

Hey, if PSG or somebody else comes in for Richarlison this summer at £80m then sure, I'd sell. But that's unlikely to happen. So I'd extend him (using some of the wiggle room created by Delph, Sigurdsson and Tosun's wages coming off the payroll in summer 2022) by a year and concentrate on rebuilding the squad.
