Everton January 2022 Transfer Thread

Dont agree the season is over...... We may need some results to save our PL status.

Newcastle will go on a run, Leeds are back to winning ways and IF Watford or Burnley have an upturn in fortune we are in serious trouble.

RB talks about a winning mentality but all we`ve done in the majority of games he has managed is LOSE, thats not something you just turn around by selling your best players, playing 5-4-1 defensive football and signing 20 year olds having never played in the league.

Really worried we are becoming a 5 at the back team, we need to be offensive to get the crowd up like when we played Arsenal.

We need 4 points from the next 2 or a couple of these clubs could be right on our heels as a number of them play each other in upcoming fixtures. Burnley have the least favourable run of games through to the end of Feb. They should be over 10 points behind us by the end of Feb

Sporting Director, Ross Wilson commented “Personally, Nathan is someone that I’ve placed a lot of faith in since I joined Rangers. We saw top potential in him and I’ve enjoyed working with him and seeing him develop every day.

“Nathan is supported brilliantly by his family and as Rangers fans, I know they are extremely proud of his Rangers achievements.

In terms of the detail of the transfer, I have been in discussions with Everton Chairman Bill Kenwright for a number of weeks. It has been a pleasure to deal with Bill - a man who represents his club with genuine class.

"It is true that there were previous discussions last summer but we were always clear that in our model players will only leave at the right time and for the right number.

So much for him not being involved anymore

If by any chance we still have cash left over (perhaps sale of Holgate could free up further spending), I would love us to go out and get Brennan Johnson from Notts Forest to play at the top of the midfield or wide right - cracking player and only 20-years-old

Impressive wonder how much he would cost? Best to look at this kind of potential than another faded name
