Yeah, it;s not exactly "you tool" "you nobhead" like is it?next post
Yeah I just don't think Allan is a natural sitting player. Maybe in a 3 (which is what he did when Ancelotti arrived) he could get away with it, but his best role is, like Longstaff, to press around and hassle the opposition, which is why him playing in a 2 doesn't make sense as it doesn't get the best out of him or Doucoure. Thanks, that's a comprehensive run down.
I'd have thought Allan would be the sitter. He played that way for Ancelotti when he arrived. I think if we do get an injury free player with a bit of everything (but not a master of all trades - which is how you describe Longstaff) that allows Doucoure liberty to get further up the pitch a lot more where he does damage.

Yes I'm more than happy to correct you for being wrong because I said more players like that not those players specifically.

How could you when we only made an offer last night after we turned down their offer for Digne.
Cheers for thisOur bid for Longstaff has been rejected by Newcastle.
But again, you've got to look at how he's been played.I don't think Allan is good enough. Can't help the defence and can't create at the other end. A typical Everton midfielder.
