We can't afford luxury players like Coutinho and James, who cannot be relied on to stay fit. We don't have squad depth for players who are out more often than fit. That's why we need to move on likes of Gomes, Delph, Mina etc. I have no issue with letting James go. I just thought it was poorly handled with us only getting the deal done after the point where we could reinvest. Coutinho will do great at Villa if he stays fit, but that's a huge question mark at this point.
