Should be all over this IMO

Not for me.

I'm absolutely past this stuff of signing older players on huge wages, even on loan.

If you bring him in and he does well, the clamour starts to get him in permanently and we prove we are incapable of learning.

Whoever we bring in, and I don't care if it's just a loan, has to be the right age profile because a loan doesn't always end up as just a loan.

The one thing I will give this manager is that every player we've been genuinely linked with for actual money so far has been the right age profile. He does, at least, appear to be getting that bit right.

Yes spurs DOF bought him to juve. Apparently Conte isn’t keen though. Arsenal, well I think the Want a striker. And probably would need to shift Pepe

Not sure he fits the system Conte plays and at Arsenal he'd have Pepe and Saka to contend with. It would be an odd decision for them to bring in someone like that which would potentially block Saka's progress. Don't doubt he will have better options than us, but the Arsenal and Spurs suggestions would surprise me if they turn out to be true.

There's a yank on now on the space talking wham . It could be the big oil !

Nails on a blackboard

Mentioning 18 year olds. Could be @Zatara putting on a yank accent

2 accents i cant do. American and Irish.

You drop Richarlison and play Gray

Iwobi + Keane = Great

Doucoure + Richarlison = Bad

Congratulations. There wont be many more stupid posts this year.

Unless you keep posing lol

I can definitely understand your point, but there needs to be at least some focus on the here and now. I hold the opinion that our status as a premier league club is actually in jeopardy right now, and it would be a nightmare for our future plans if we were to be relegated in the middle of building a new stadium. We need some quality that is ready to come in and improve things immediately, as the rest of the premier league aren't going to wait around for us to get our act together.

He's not a city player
Maybe, maybe not. City don't exactly have a lot of over-21 home grown players to pad out their quota, plus they did drop £40m on a relegated, homegrown Nathan Ake who has played about 17 minutes of football in 2 years. I doubt DCL will transfer in Jan, but it wouldn't be the most surprising thing if it happened.

off topic i know but if we do go down what a day out in south london that will be next season ?
Absolutely right mate, and you will be made very welcome. It ain’t gonna happen (I sincerely hope) but if it did the Championship is a fantastic league & as I said on our forum when we recently won at Coventry - I hope we don’t finish higher than 7th coz the Prem and all that goes with it would probably rip the soul out of our beloved community football club. We are very happy where we are. It is proper good old fashioned down to earth football. What’s not to like ?

I agree. Bringing in a midfielder like that would go a long way to ensuring safety from relegation. At present, our central midfield is Championship standard and doesn't protect the defence at all, nor does it create anything.
Why are we bringing in Wijnaldum then?

I agree with this. And loans aren't really useful anyway unless we can turn them into deals. So the profile matters if they're going to be a permanent signing.

Wijnaldum is also Doucoure with the fortune to get signed by a club with more talent. That's not a compliment.
