I can't see it either, but by the same token, it wouldn't be the most surprising thing in the world if DCL was gone by February. I know City don't necessarily need a No9 but he's young, homegrown, cheaper than Kane. Wouldn't be the biggest shock in the world.
I think if that happens it would be the summer, TBH I wouldn’t be over bothered, only the thing is we would be selling a younger player which I think we need to try to get more of in the team. He has proved me wrong and turned out a better player than I thought he would, but IMO he’s good but not that good not so hard to replace as Lukaku was. I think we would miss Richarlison more another who may well go in the summer. I look at it this way perhaps a clear out is needed and I like the way we are doing our business now, replacing older players with younger ones. The one I don’t want to go is Pickford he has improve a lot lately. Also DCL and Richarlison still have very good resale values which if invested rightly might well see us improve more as a team.

right now i dont really care unless they have low wages and can actually play more than two games in a row without getting injured.

That doesn't mean I think its a good deal, I can't believe we're in for alexis sanchez, it must be a joke rumour.

While I don't think we are in for him, or this is true...we do need to actually sign someone to win us some games, especially in midfield, cos we're gonna struggle because signing 2 kids at fullback isn't going to do much

If it ends up just being Longstaff in midfield....then just pray.

100,000 grand according to salary sport
Com
I’d take that with pinch of salt, be very suprised if DCL signed a contract in March 20 putting him on less than most of them , esp the likes of Iwobi, Gbamin and Delph.
Edit - unless he got a significant signing on fee to go with it - weekly salary’s are often only half the story….. full contract sum is what counts I guess.

We're also one of the worst clubs in the league for negotiating player sales. Look across the park: something like £15m they got for Shaquiri who barely ever played, meanwhile we can't get a penny for Besic or Walcott or Bolasie or Niasse etc etc. Shocking stuff when you think about it.
I think it helps playing in a winning side, when he did come on he got a few goals. Also being in a winning side it must skew the view of the purchasing team, our players dont play in a winning side and looking at fan pages and the media most of our players are considered "Dead Wood"
