If it was me, id get in a specialist defensive midfielder.

We can use someone screening the defence and the performance of say Branthwaite and Godfrey would improve with that person ahead of them.

Currently Doucoure and Allan both press as is their nature but neither are really DMs.

Basically a younger Gana Gueye with better passing?

While El Ghazi on loan is not something that we seemed to need.... if the loan fee is small, we are only covering a portion of his wages and there is no obligation it just kind of is what it is.

As long as it does not impact our ability to pursue things we do need (namely 1, if not two, CMs, a CB and probably a reserve striker so we never have to play Rondon again) then I guess it is okay.

Regardless, if he is coming I hope he does well. If nothing else it makes it more difficult for Iwobi to get on the pitch.

We need to remember that installments still need to be paid which means that previous years are still owed. I keep seeing that a £30m player is only £6m but these all add up when you've bought numerous players on the same principle

But you think, with dinge gone. Add to the 4 out of contracts going in the summer. Saves us 30mil. Then we could sell a few other players, Mina, Holgate, Gomes iwobi. Then the year after Allan, Coleman, Townsend. Doucoure( I expect him to get a new deal) out of contract. Kean maybe gone to juve.

Probably a very good chance Richarlison will have. So the club will alway find away to save money that pays for the new players, we’re paying for over 4/5 years

The squad is just way too big if El Ghazi comes. We need to be working overtime on binning Tosun, Delph, Iwobi, Kenny, Gbamin and Holgate before we do anything else.

Agree can move on now dont think its a great deal by the club but gives us more cover out wide. A quality cb,cm wont really take notice of him then really is just more cover.
