Don’t know mate, have you heard anything?
About Siggy it is all under the carpet. Not even sure are we still paying him wages?

It makes sense now.
Anwar El Ghazi was not on Everton’s radar at the start of the month and came up in conversation between Everton owner Farhad Moshiri and his advisor, Kia Joorabchian.

Absolutely shocking if true Moshiri was advised not to bring him in, especially at that amount!!!! If true Moshiri is being heavily influenced by agents..….a very well respected poster on here told me privately after Iwobi joined that Moshiri had brought him in against Brands advice. I can absolutely say that poster is connected to the club, will not betray what he’s been told confidentially and is certainly not a ‘weirdo’.
Other posters are articulating perfectly reasonable views based on what is being said in the public domain. I suppose I’m one of those, I hope i’m not a weirdo for having such thoughts.
This is hardly breaking newsIf true Moshiri is being heavily influenced by agents..
He reckons we're after that El Ghazi fella from Villa too..Has @Theoneandonly broke the Mykolenko news yet?
It makes sense now.

In what way was Digne sold below market value exactly? Italian clubs only wanted loans with no buy, Chelsea wanted cheaper alternatives, the other teams didn't match villas offer besides Newcastle.
We set a price and pretty much everyone went nah and walked away.
I'd say that reflects what he's worth

I think that is a good assessmentJust a couple of other bits. The financial crisis brought on by Covid has essentially affected players in their late 20s more. We have done well to get up to 28m for a 28 year old. Villa have done what we did with Bolasie, Sigurdsson and others, bought a really good player, off a rival, when they are in their peak but ultimately when they are probably slightly on their way down. All for a decent fee. We will see how it works for them, but I'm not convinced, signing 28 year olds for good money is really going to move them to the next level.
Theres lots to criticise Benitez for, but his transfer business has made sense. It's not a massive departure on what we were trying to do previously, but to me he seems prepared to make big calls which were avoided with DOFs who fudged issues.
As a club, we have to be prepared to sell lads who do well in their late 20s for decent fees and gamble again on those in their early 20s.
