I agree, no mention of any players since the last signing and Dunc is here short term, they won’t let him spend anything and he’s it mentioned signings at all.

In a team which has more crap centre mids than any other in the division, this would’ve been adding salt to the wound. Suspect he’d of been our third best CM but he’s still poor.

Happy that Longstaff is off, but with Delph now joining Davies on the sidelines for a good while we do badly need midfielders, at least one on loan seems necessary.

Definitely. Otherwise I think Townsend will have to start playing there.

Yep I think we have to start Allan, Doucoure & Gomes in a midfield three until we get someone else in. Or if they are not all available, Dunc has to think about bringing Townsend, Gordon, or El Ghazi into a more withdrawn position in the middle. Not ideal, but we can't keep getting overrun.

With a temporary manager in charge, I think we need to get a midfielder on loan. Should have been that instead of El Ghazi.
