Surely Deli Alli and RLC are the kind of players we should be looking at. Good players who have slightly lost their way at their current clubs and are still young enough to give us a good few years

Same for DvdB.
Issue is we're skint and only have one PL loan to use

DVB on loan and Luiz purchase would be an amazing end to the window. Be surprised if we got Luiz but they are listening to offers apparently
I really rate Douglas Luiz. He's one of those players that goes under the radar for a lot of opposition fans, but you generally rate if in your own side. Good on the ball, good at the defensive side - just a good player all round.

Although Arsenal have apparently had a bid turned down for him, I wouldn't rule a move out as his agent is . . . Kia Joorabchian.

Apparently Luiz is also in a relationship with former Everton Women player Alisha Lehmann, so there are just links everywhere! ?

Not sure Dele Alli is the man to help us right now in a relegation fight - or Van de Beek for that matter, not proven to do it in the prem

Think we should push for Lingard
United want 12 million for him, but if he waits 6 months there'll be quite a few other clubs after him and he can take his pick.

Hmm, I hadn't read the last few posts but a lot have a similar thought.

On the rare occasions that he gets on the pitch, van de Beek looks decent, and signing somebody with a knack for arriving late in the box makes sense when you have a player like Gray making things happen.

Dele Alli would be a waste of time. He's been finished for years.
Not to be pedantic here, but Gray really isn't all that creative.

He's only just overtaken Digne for us on chances created, despite having played seven more games

He's not a creative winger at all. He basically gets the ball and has one thought which is attack the goal/box and occasionally he puts a decent cross in.

So what a player like VVB, or Alli, if coached right, offers is an extra threat to take a defender away from Gray. Villa marked him out of the game the other day by constantly doubling up on him.

pickford
coleman, Godfrey, Mina, mykolenko
Gomes, Allan, vdb
gray, dcl, richy

Once Patterson up to speed he replaces Coleman and a healthy Doucoure replaces Gomes.

Not bad, but highlights the need for another CM (and really another CB since Mina only seems to be healthy for international breaks…)

Looks like Donny van de Beek is coming in. Quality player. Unlike Schneiderlin or Michael Keane who where always going to be crap, he has real quality. Should probably of joined Real Madrid not United. Slightly disappointed as looks like there is no option to buy.

He walks into this team. Presses hard. Quality in final 3rd. Played number 10 for Ajax, but can play deeper. Would work well in a 4-3-3.

Hope nobody says he is a United reject, Lingard, Keane, Schneiderlin are rejects but not Donny.

Donny is not only good enough to play for United, but good enough to play for much better teams. He got sold down river by a fraud of a manager who plays Fred every week and a until last couple of years a German jouneyman in Rangnick.

The next hours? Its 2am the lad will be a kip.

Looks like we'll sign him now anyway. Can't say I'm thrilled about it, think the lad is a good technical player but lacks the pace to be effective in the Premier league. Hopefully I'm wrong but tbh his playing style is reminiscent of Lampard, with that link up play and last man arriving in the box style about him. Maybe the manager sees a player he can mold during the season.

Although thats if the manager wants him. There's a part of me that fears there's a sheet of paper being held up with a fridge magnet somewhere in FF with brands last 10 scouted players on it and Moshiri and kenwright are panicking and bringing in anyone they can off that list.

Everton really have a good potential core squad, Pickford, Patterson, VDB, Richarlsion, Lewin is a great spine of the team.

Couple of good young players like Nkounkou, Branthwaite, Gordon. New midfield (Donny is top quality signing) and a few wingers things will look really good.

Donny can play box to box or in a similar role to Mason mount.

Donny is a fighter. He presses really strong and he is not lightweight at all like Klassen was.

Brands had some good ideas, not all of his players he wanted would of been terrible. Considering he wasn't interested in bringing in many Dutch players, but wanted Donny says alot.
