I can see levy preferring a loan to Palace. Wages covered and a chance for him to raise his stock playing regular games, followed by a summer move for more cash.

Difficult decision as if he doesnt he's back and they will struggle to find a buyer at all.

I think if we offer an initial lowish fee but with addons to take it to around £15m if he's successful then they still get decent money and him off the wage bill

It’ll be interesting, as that would suit the likes of DCL, Richarlison, Gray, Godfrey and Doucoure well, it’s just that we have a large portion of the squad whom it would not suit

I can understand why people are surprised we seem to be looking more at attacking player's when we need to shore up defensively.

Lampard has preferred to play with three up top in both previous managerial positions. Perhaps he wants opposition sides to have to think more of how they can stop us than us them, positive football.

Richarlison, DCL and Gray seems like it could cause problems for opposition sides. We have potential back ups in all but the central position of that three. You can't count Rondon because he doesn't move to be in goal scoring positions.
