Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Just put ssn and they were talking about Everton and that Stephen Warnock is as usual talking absolute nonsense saying Everton have had lots of money to spend and then went on to name the players with his made up transfer fees, Beto 37 million , Chermiti 20 million even Lindstrom cost us 20 million according to Warnock 🤣🤣
Pathetic thst most other clubs fans will even take that serious. Acting like we have no been f by mistskes of psr, find it crazy sky is the main media we gave for footy and the crap they put on it now

Forget Dibling, we need players that can come in now and do a job. We're in deep trouble this season and just because we're a few points clear now doesn't mean we don't need to strengthen the side in January. What happens if Pickford gets injured, Branthwaite gets ruled out for the season? We have Championship backup for these players.

We need as proven as possible a winger and passing midfielder to bring the current starting XI up to mid-table standard.

We're probably losing Gueye in the summer, Mangala is likely going back, Harrison and Lindstrom will hopefully be packed off, and adiou will be bid to Doucoure, Keane, Young, Coleman, Begovic, Holgate, DCL, and hopefully Beto. Broja will go back too. We'll lose about 50% of the current squad.

High time for a rebuild.
Doesent necessarily have to be proven, but do agree with that age demographic would be mental. You look at how hard the likes of Summerville & Clarke have found the step up to the Premier League and you do wonder why teams keep falling for the 'talent in the championship' stuff

3 goals this season, mainly playing no.10.

He's a talent, but not ready for the PL
Also the price because of his name can see him costing alot more than he is worth, id like to take a chance on lads like him earlier. But becomes of a risk unless really standing out in that league

If we're to get the DoF and a cohesive strategy correct, this should not be as greater issue as some would say, because we'd sign players to match said system.

The managerial appointment would match it too, so he could use the players we have, and he would be able to be part of appointments in the long-term.

And this is where our system currently doesn't work, for we may have players who aren't the best, but in my view Dyche doesn't utilise them correctly as it is.

How we train and how we play does our forward players no favours, at all.
I agree but its the timeline to which that said DoF can implement a cohesive club strategy that leaves me worried in regards to January. TFG I would hope have lined up a fair bit prior to acquisition, but frankly the reports have kind of suggested otherwise. I don't see the DoF that's evident or constantly attached. And the turnover at Roma this season makes me also not all that assured they have had a months long process organizing a holistic strategy. The energy outwardly seems primarily on the logistics of acquiring the club even still.

And with loan spots taken theres little options in patching holes makeshift. Considering the amount of squad turnover come the summer, you'd think it wise to bring in a few names in January if not for the current campaign. But I also don't want to overcommit in buys before the pillars of the club are set up. We shall see.

Why i feel they will keep thelwell think this window will see maybe 3 in in positions we need like at lb and out wide. Agree on dont think see a real big change is also why we need ro make a choice on the manager with us hopefully safe before season ends so we can go in with a plan for the new season early
