Strengthen is the word though, if we haven’t we couldn’t in my opinion mate.

We need to break the cycle of bringing in tat - reacting to “desperate situations” then wanting rid of said months later via a loan to - to back of no where fc, while we count down their contracts.

January is a muck market, deep down we all know it.

I’m happy enough with the kid from Brazil, always liked the look of him at Southampton - he will surprise a few.

If that's happening then it's not down to buying in January and it being 'a risk', it's down to being effective in targeting players well in advance of it and getting value for money.
