We could all do with some of Matty's meds to get us through these dark winter months!
It’s the little things I like about your posts, Matty. Only you would find a way to add a line break within a three word post.want my
meds?
In fairness mate, I'd be delighted to add 2 x Kudos's or Gakpos
Dibling actually would improve us imo
Depreciate? We made money on most of those mentioned. But I agree that our strategy is a mess.Lookman to me always looked like he had the quality but was never given the minutes. Remember having a conversation at the time with my brother that he would end up a top player but not for Everton.
Would be lying if I claimed to have predicted that Robinson would develop how he has, but doesn't make it any less frustrating watching myko every week knowing we let him go for peanuts.
The point I was making is more that if we are going to sign young players this summer (which we should) we need to learn from those mistakes and have solid plans on how we manage the development of our young players. When you look at players like those previously mentioned, Patterson, Vlasic, Kean, Nkounkou, Onana, even O'Brien this season - it's clear our strategy behind the scenes has been all over the place. A few of those players are now turning out to actually be decent footballers at other clubs. All they did at everton was stagnate and depreciate in value.
24 carat clown that fellaJust put ssn and they were talking about Everton and that Stephen Warnock is as usual talking absolute nonsense saying Everton have had lots of money to spend and then went on to name the players with his made up transfer fees, Beto 37 million , Chermiti 20 million even Lindstrom cost us 20 million according to Warnock
I always makes me howl when the TV subtitles name him as an ex-Liverpool player. The first 40 of his 470+ games were with the rs, everyone else was at much, much smaller clubs. I cam imagine him begging the tv producer to keep naming him as ex-red24 carat clown that fella
Thanks for repeating the title"Dyche to get modest transfer budget in January"
Dyche to get 'modest' January budget in Friedkins' plan to transform Everton
Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has agreed terms to sell the club to a US consortiuminews.co.uk
Lol. Yeah I never know how these things are going to render. Could have just clicked preview ofc eh...Thanks for repeating the title
Yeah on the one hand I'd love us to go for Rigg but realistically we're a team fighting relegation and IMO can't really be looking at players like that. He'd come at a fairly high price and would need some bedding in time. He's more a transfer for a stable mid-table club IMO. Dibling is a bit different IMO in that I think he'd get straight into our team on the right wing. Not that we can afford Dibling anyway like, I'm more just speaking theoretically. If you look back at the prices I wrote down then based on the £60mil figure we couldnt afford that
I'd much rather we went younger and gave opportunities to the best we could find.
For sure & Rigg I suspect would push other players to deliver.
As with Wharton, the time to go for these types is in Jan.
