Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

I’d absolutely love for us to be in a position to buy those two and slowly bed them into the team. We buy them for 60m and we can’t afford actual first team players to take over from Harrison and Doucoure - do you genuinely believe that Rigg and Dibling start for a team hoping to stay in the prem?!

Get off your video games for a second and live in the real world. Ideal scenario we have solid first team players that as you say they can slowly oust - that’s not the case.

We need some good players first before we go buying prospects.

Absolutely mad I swear 😂.
I don't think we should buy Dibling as too expensive but I think if we had him he'd be starting for us on the right

This is a thread discussing potential player transfers, you're in the wrong place if you cant handle an outlandish suggestion. Who decides what's 'outlandish' and what's 'ambitious' anyway?

For what it's worth, I'd rather chat with Zat about his ambitious suggestions than the Debbie Downers that constantly try to dismiss absolutely everything, and no doubt would have said that we had no chance of signing Ancelloti and Lukaku etc.

I was just checking if there was a… non-footballing reason this poster didn’t want that player.

….not sure. I admit to having links to Rangers first team so I tend to watch their matches with a bit of interest but no bias.

They are poor this season despite a spirited effort in last weekends cup final. They have brought in a Brazilian LB I thought might be ok but he’s very erratic in possession. I can’t say that Igamane has impressed me but he’s a skillful footballer who might improve for a step-up in grade. Much depends on the price.

I had a look into Bove's situation. He has been fitted with the same pacemaker thing that Erikson has. The most recent reports are very eager to portray the device as being removable. I'm not too sure just how removable such a device would be, or whether you'd even want to remove it if you still have intentions of playing professional football?

But by saying 'it is removable' does it prevent the immediate cancellation of his contract in Italy? Allowing his owners to seek a fee? My understanding is that he is still technically owned by Roma, despite Fiorientina having a loan with an obligation to buy?

Usually like a USB device, unless it's an internal one that detects the irregular heartbeats then bam !

Well said. Without people like you, Spartacus would never have been made, Kanchelskis would never have signed and Branthwaite would have joined PSV.

This song is for you (and the Friedkin Group)

Dymak, I salute you ;)

Edit: It was a 'Wheeler Walker Jr' song :(
