Cunha has 8 goals & 3 assists in 1338mins and only 26 by the time next season starts.

I dont think anyone thought we'd spend big in Jan.

I do think if Thelwell has a target or two that becomes available and we have a chance to do those deals in Jan then we will try to do so.

What I believe is that TFG will be looking at future revenue streams (pre-agreed) and will leverage those to get deals over the line and wont be averse to front loading payments if needed.



If we need 9 players in summer i can (and hope) we spend 'big' on 3 or 4 and the rest are loans or cheaper deals.

In Jan i think we need to sign 3 players to lower the workload for summer.



I think alot depends on his ban and how much Wolves need for PSR to be able to sign defenders.

Without new defenders theyre down.

Cunha would be amazing, he’s exactly what we need. We paid 30 odd million for Onana the other year when we were in a far worse situation. Good players cost good money and we can’t be too afraid of that imo. You do need to act like a PL club if you want to remain one.

Not that we have the money, but a decent number 10 (if ndiaye stays out wide left) and a decent right wing would transform us. Defensively we are comfortable for the moment. We need goals and decent chances created.
If only we had 2 clones of ndiaye

With broja fit, and Chermiti coming back, we should be ok for forwards in the immediate future.

Onana was one of the quickest players in the league last season. Gordon was also very quick.

Think richy's problem has been injuries.

We have a midfielder who can play behind the striker.....he's called Iliman Ndayie

I know, I was mainly suggesting a player that offered what dyche thinks doucoure offers because we should be done with him. Someone who competes to start in the deeper lying positions of our midfield but can deputise as a 10.

Overall we need to be looking to increase the quality of our midfield anyway. Gueye and Mangala aren't 100% likely to be with us next season so in the next 8 months it's a position that requires attention.
