Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Loaning Beto to Roma wouldn't benefit us at all, it would just deprive us of a striker in a squad that can't score goals.
Depends. If we want to get rid, him gettin 8 goals in italy will raise his value more than him getting 2 here. They might have a surplus at some position where we need reinforcements, and both teams prosper.

I have barely watched football this season but those names stand out.
You have the same fullback shortsightedness as big nose Kev

😂😂

Surely, surely they:
1. Knew they were buying into a team deep in a relegation battle this season that needs immediate investment.
2. Have already found a way to invest funds in the first team that will improve our starting XI.
3. Realise that if they don't invest immediately then there's a huge chance of us going down this season.

They've had months to plan this and work with the Director of Football and Manager. If you believe Dyche, this week was the first time he's ever exchanged words with the me owners.

There simply has to be players brought in asap.

I certainly hope there's a short term plan to improve us as well as a long-term vision.

The striker situation will be very interesting:
DCL: there will be teams looking at him for a cut price deal
Beto: heavily linked with a move away
Chermitti: will he be loaned out in case he is 4th choice?

Over to you Armando 😊

Surely a starting winger and/or a starting and goalscoring number 10 will be brought in within the next 3-4 weeks... right? If we had better quality behind our starting striker we'd get about 5 times more out of our striker.

As it stands everything bar Ndiaye is absolutely garbage, and as good as he is, he's mostly ineffective where it counts because he can't do it all himself and eventually loses possession.

Having to start Harrison and Doucoure is shambolic and leaves absolutely no optimism for the rest of the season. If we go with this squad without strengthening then we're welcoming a relegation battle, which we'll probably lose if it gets to February and we then pick up a few injuries.
That and a lb for me can understand waiting for a rb because we have 4
From that list we could realistically get:
Chukwuemeka
Depends on the price could include a sell on and option to get him back. The sell on could be like onana who we got but had a high sell on

I agree with you, but clearly there's not a huge chance of us going down. It's highly unlikely.
