….i’ve always described it as; ‘you hope he scores rather than expecting him to score’, but I think that’s that’s the case with virtually every player in the squad. We’ll have to see if Broja turns that statement around.

….from what I’ve seen I’d certainly put him in the ‘hope he scores’ category.

Running in on Gwladys St in one of his cameo’s he didn’t approach it like a goalscorer to me, I so wanted him to fire towards the far post but he struck it aimlessly over the bar. Early days for him, let’s hope he’s a proper finisher but not seeing it so far.

I say to youngsters that goalkeepers are like Father Christmas, they always leave a little present for you to finish, even through their legs. Goalscorers don’t have to look up, they know where the goal is, they know where the goalkeeper should be. It’s why they invariably finish inside the post.
