Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

priority for you?
Left back for me is essential

Winger with pace to get us to transition far quicker and a left back mate.

Ideally I'd have 2 full backs, a winger, and a proper striker but hey, we aren't that fortunate are we.

Every game in Jan where the pace isn't rectified and the left back slot left is just another step closer to the trap door.

If there is a really deep insistence that Dyche stays until summer unless we lose 3 in a row, then Kev should not be daft enough to buy/loan anyone that hasn’t been playing every week in a top Division, and even then, it has to be in the next 2 weeks. So extremely difficult.

Signing a pacey right winger on the last day of the window who has only made 4 appearances, or who is pretty much recovered from an injury would be utterly stupid. They wouldn’t start a game until March at the very earliest, and even then only if injuries forced it. Better to not bother.

Anyone coming in simply has to be fully fit, in very quickly, and demonstrably better in their position than whoever we have there. A hard working left footed RW, and an 18 year old LB on deadline day and we are in huge trouble.

I think winger is the last position we will be signing, Ndiaye, McNeill, Lindstrom, Harrison, and Garner no way the club will be shelling out for any more.
