All the talk out of him yesterday was about how big an Arsenal fan he was, and how much he’d want to be playing CL football when he moves.

Have Arsenal been linked with him?

I think its one area Thelwell will have to pull something out of the bag.

He's been trying as we know for some top players overseas, like Kudus for example.

The right side is something which is imperative to getting us into the top half.

Reports of Silas having a relatively low release clause (currently on loan at Belgrade from Stuttgart). What we think? A one season wonder? Nothing but an Ultimate Team hero? He’s a right winger, rapid but still a big unit with a goal in him. Could be a cheaper alternative to someone like Gnonto - though with a bigger risk. All of this depends on if the takeover goes through before January surely. Agree though, if we do have funds to spend, we have to be smart and address the positions that have limited us for years. Right wing and full back cover. We still have a domestic loan slot if I’m not mistaken?

From memory he's had a 2-3 period were he's been ravaged by loads of injuries.

Of previous linked players - for the right, Ebimbe would be the most likely, Frankfurt were looking at offloading him, wanted I think around the 12-15m mark, only 'i think' 23 still - played a decent amount of games at a high level, got pace, got goals in him. Side benefit of having played right with Lindstrom central as well.
