His injury record is poor tbh, I wouldn't go near him, he relies on pace and has had multiple hamstring/muscular issues. Edon Zhegrova at Lille is someone we should look at, quite similar profile to Ndiaye but plays on the right, very good with the ball at feet. From memory he's had a 2-3 period were he's been ravaged by loads of injuries.
Of previous linked players - for the right, Ebimbe would be the most likely, Frankfurt were looking at offloading him, wanted I think around the 12-15m mark, only 'i think' 23 still - played a decent amount of games at a high level, got pace, got goals in him. Side benefit of having played right with Lindstrom central as well. Can also play wing, wingback or right back so adds versatility to a thin squad.
Gueye, Mangala, Garner & Doucoure all have better numbers than Wharton this season.Sorry what? Quite literally both Wharton and even young Rigg improve our midfield.
Im not sure what youre trying to say here?
Yeah Armstrong...
This comes with young players like this. His time will come obviously but the hardest thing for a young player to establish is consistency over 30-40 games. That only comes with experience and help from others around them. Hence him not playing every minute even at BlackburnWharton looked very good v Everton were he was given all the time and space he needed against a two man midfield, the next week v Liverpool he couldn’t get into the game at any stage, looked less than average and was substituted with about twenty minutes to go.
LindstrumWho would you want to sign as an upgrade on Harrison?
It's ok, our players rarely get injured...oh.His injury record is poor tbh, I wouldn't go near him, he relies on pace and has had multiple hamstring/muscular issues. Edon Zhegrova at Lille is someone we should look at, quite similar profile to Ndiaye but plays on the right, very good with the ball at feet.
Been really poor this season compared to the back part of last.. not sure he’s as good as some make out.….Wharton on the bench for a struggling Palace team tonight, thought he was ordinary at Goodison when he got hooked in the 2nd half.
Just watched a YouTube vid of Edon Zhegrova of the back of this. Sign him up Kev!His injury record is poor tbh, I wouldn't go near him, he relies on pace and has had multiple hamstring/muscular issues. Edon Zhegrova at Lille is someone we should look at, quite similar profile to Ndiaye but plays on the right, very good with the ball at feet.
Not pretty to watch but he’s effective. Also confident that he’ll take his chances when they’re presented whereas with our strikers it’s the exact opposite. It's funny every window Chris Woods name is jokingly banded about as some joke figure, yet every time i watch him he seems to score.
When a team is going well everyone looks good. When a team is going bad everyone looks bad. Look at Everton when in a rough patch. All our players look diabolical. If palace start getting a few results we might see what he is really like but the jury is out at the mo.Been really poor this season compared to the back part of last.. not sure he’s as good as some make out.
Everton like to think they're too good for a 10 goal a year striker whilst battling relegation. It's funny every window Chris Woods name is jokingly banded about as some joke figure, yet every time i watch him he seems to score.
According to @Alan Whittle he struggling with an injury and needs groin surgery….Wharton on the bench for a struggling Palace team tonight, thought he was ordinary at Goodison when he got hooked in the 2nd half.
