If the best we can do is Philogene on loan then our recruitment team needs sacked on the spot. Ipswich can him,especially on loan. Don't fancy develop players for the other pl teams we should be competing against.

He was one of the best players in the championship last season, that’s the exact sort of profile we should be targeting. We’re nowhere close to Villa, it’s completely irrelevant

I would think under the new owners signing players that don't make the pitch will get both Thelwell and Dyche the sack (or no contract renewal at the very least). Wasn't the case under Moshiri as the money to sack them wasn't available, but thats no longer the case now. Everyone needs to be seen to be rowing in the same direction and making the most of resources provided or else they'll be the ones replaced.

Ipswich had 16m bid rejected for Ben Doak so they want another wide player in to replace Ogbene.

One that popped into my mind was Buendia warming the bench at Villa. Had a bad injury but been involved again in their squad since August. Scored loads of goals against this club in the past so loan deal to see if he can recapture some form playing more regularly?
