Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

We sign the hottest striker in the league Jikitsa Nelavic and after his unbelievable half season run of form he slams his knee into the post first game of the next season and becomes James Beattie. And our most promising signing Mevin Kirallas injures his hammy 7 times over the span of 5 years. I hope our fans are ready

I’m looking forward to gelessis , sayd brosnar signing and not playing … or signing the wrong Asian player and having to sign another quickly after , then signing a Brazilian on loan that never played and finally a center back that is bought and then sold because he can’t play football

Good times ahead

Convinced Broja is high quality myself mate.
Difficult one that. I've always liked him and in the very brief glimpses we saw of him here, I thought there was a player in there, but circumstances have worked against him. Expect Moyes will tell us later that his injury is a bad one and that means his future here is practically over. If he's done his ACL or something, we won't be shelling out £30m or whatever given the risk.

….the problem is, his achilles could be made of tissue. It’s dreadfully sad for the lad if his latest injury is a season ender but you wonder why Ipswich swerved him late in their loan bid. With the monies involved, we need to steer clear of players with particularly bad injury records.

We can't afford another injury prone striker. If he'd got himself fit and been our top scorer it would be a different story. But looks like he is going to miss a big chunk of what's left.
