Eh? The only big mistakes I can think of that Liverpool have made in recent years are Keita and Nunez. You might not particularly think they're amazing, but in the last 3 years the big signings they've made are Gravenberch, MacAllister, Szoboszlai, Nunez and Gakpo. 4 out of the 5 of them are regulars (and playing well) for the runaway league leaders. The rs have wasted a fortune on average players. When was the last time they bought a top quality player? But they can afford to make mistakes thanks to their following of global happy clappers. That's what makes it unfair. Otherwise Bournemouth and Brighton would be the top 2 as they've been the best run clubs over the last 3 years.
Not a chance with the limited resources we've got this January,we'd punt it all on crocked LB...an injury prone one at at.
He should be giving her a run for her money. If he can't get a game ahead of a 51 year old former actress, I don't think he is a player we should be pursuing.Weren’t there whispers that the main concern/frustration with Ferguson’s recent injury history is that he doesn't look after himself and is giving Daniela Westbrook a run for her money?
Their midfield is irrelevant, as they go from back to front quickly. It's all about their front 3. Salah has been back on his form from a few years ago as he's playing for a transfer/contract which is the only reason they're top. As for £85 million for Nunez and £60 million for Szoboszlai, I'd hardly say they were value for money.Eh? I mean, I hate them as much as the next man, but I think being critical of their transfers is pushing it. They get it right more than the vast majority of teams
Thank goodness for that.Moyes sounded confident of at least making additions in the forward areas this window.
Charlie Adams getting a squad number. Like a new signing.Moyes sounded confident of at least making additions in the forward areas this window.
Well he hasn't worked yet really with our new recruitment team/thelwell before. He could be left very frustrated indeed...Moyes sounded confident of at least making additions in the forward areas this window.
Not sure who you're going to get with pl experience and the psr parameters. Talked at length of the championship, and i understand this is what he alluded to when talking about seasoned players.Moyes was pretty steadfast on the need for at least two signings in the presser there. He did also reiterate that he’d like ‘seasoned players’ though and basically pooh-poohed the Nuamah transfer due to his lack of PL experience.
