Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Just in the sense that we look forward facing once again. Looking up rather than down.

If we’re a going concern then what are Wolves and Ipswich? Players are still signing for those clubs.

If a player doesn’t back themselves to come into this team and make an impact, and would rather be airlifted to safety by everyone else, then I don’t want them anyway.

Actually, don’t read this, it’s awful. Literally used this sentence:

“I'm still not sure what his best role is: being a target man or being the type of striker that will hold the ball and wait for teammates to arrive.”

They’re the same thing brother.
You ever seen this boy take pens. He’s got the funniest highlight reel of pens I’ve seen. Some proper honkers

Boscagli at PSV I’d look at. Can play LB and LCB.

No. That sort of attitude is dangerous. We have a paper thin squad and a tricky April to come. Might not take much for things to turn.

EDIT: it’s about how potential signings see us, not how we see ourselves.
We have Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton at home as well.
Far superior gd.
And I don't see the bottom 3/4 getting over 30 points anyway.

I would be trying for that Lamptey 100%

Not really any firm links anywhere, but that is probably a good thing. With that being the case, the following days might be equally meagre in terms of rumours - but it's what happens over the final day or two that counts. It was always going to be so.

We’re closer to 11th (5 points behind Brentford) than we are to 17th (7 points ahead of Wolves). - pray for a lot of draws today lol.

Need to be looking up, not down.

The higher we finish the more money we get and the better players we attract (‘since David Moyes came in, we have the xth best record in the league’ that kind of thing).

Get a striker and right winger and a high quality midfielder in and we can do that (in that order of importance/preference).

There are a lot of good full backs available for free in the summer
