Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

The Broja thing has done my head in. Could've done with his slot being freed up...

I might be wrong, but from what i gathered, any extra we spend on paying Chelsea out of the deal now, will count towards PSR this season, so we would end up having even less money for down-payments for transfers.

Typical us,if we have a major injury crisis it always hits in one particular position, beto is last man standing now, hopefully Moyes can pull a rabbit out of the hat as with Calvert Lewins injury woes of the last couple of seasons I'm not expecting his return anytime soon,broja/chermitti similar, sherrif untested, probably N'Diaye at a push but we will lose a lot from his game if that happens, seriously I think Mick Keggars is a shout on this one!!!

This makes some sense - bit of a jugling act, isn't it ?

Wish it was just about...you know...choosing the best players.

Personally I would be interested in us offering 6 month deals with an option for a further year on our side to a few free agents:

Rafinha - AM/RW
Brandon Williams - can cover both full back positiona
Hector Villalba - Right winger with a decent track record.

That should free us up to work on 1-3 signings for a longer term basis
WTF 😂

I wonder how long the club (and fans) should look to give new signings before being allowed to form an opinion? I mean i see on other threads players that have had 50+ games for us still "needing a manager to give them a chance". It's nuts. The club needs a much tougher approach to cut losses on the deadwood - especially where some value could be got on a former big signing.
