You're actually a lunaticApparently one of the Roma fan medias has claimed were going to swap Beto for Cristante in Jan.
Have to say, id love that deal. Big fan of Cristante and at 29 could be the experienced DM we lack in midfield to help the younger players come through e.g Iroegbunam, Armstrong and may help Garner to raise his game.
Not linked or anything but Romero at Spurs is getting stick from the fans and rumours that he would be available for sale at the right price. Liked him in Italy but not paid attention to him at Spurs.
I know we need wide players but those 2 in the spine add a lot of steel.
Perhaps, but we’d be getting Cristante in return..He’s a dog of a player.
SameTransfer stories with the word ''could'' in the first 5 words make me laugh, they're not even trying to pretend it's not guess work
re Cristante
Doesn’t sound like sound something we need at all, have plenty of those already

This is pretty balanced:
My view is that he's robust, consistent and has a lot of heart and leadership ability.
In the position of DM its more about positioning than pace and he would i think raise the games of Iroegbunam, Armstrong and Garner. Having that dependable Barry type influence in the middle would give them more freedom.
He's certainly not going to be a superstar but he would be a great player to have in the team to help us. Like Tarkowski was with Branthwaite last season.
What we need imo is a spine with consistent experienced players with leadership and a number of young high potential players (Branthwaite types) that can improve alongside them and add the Xfactor.
A Beto / Cristante swap makes alot of sense to me -- although it would depend on the style of play we use.
Reddit and ”balanced” does not go together Zat
Why would you pick a Liverpool player as a comparison. One player who comes to mind is Gareth Barry. Go and eat your egg & cress sandwich and be quiet……plebJust googled to see if there were comments online and that popped up.
Some saying hes terrible, slow etc
Others saying hes decent
Probably a fair comparison may be Dietmar Hamann the former RS player. Lots of experience though slow, decent leadership and good positioning + consistently good level.
Great years ago but so was Allan.Cristante is the sort of player who could probably do a decent job for us, but I would not have thought it was a signing nor a position that was high on the priority list.
