Apparently one of the Roma fan medias has claimed were going to swap Beto for Cristante in Jan.

Have to say, id love that deal. Big fan of Cristante and at 29 could be the experienced DM we lack in midfield to help the younger players come through e.g Iroegbunam, Armstrong and may help Garner to raise his game.

Not linked or anything but Romero at Spurs is getting stick from the fans and rumours that he would be available for sale at the right price. Liked him in Italy but not paid attention to him at Spurs.

I know we need wide players but those 2 in the spine add a lot of steel.

Just think Cristante is a top player. Can play DM, CM, ACM and has even been used before in a back 3 lol. A swap with Beto would be awesome as even at 29 Cristante is a £30mil+ player.

We wont need the cash for Beto with this deal. It would mean e.g £20mil coming in and £4mil going out giving us £16mil to use on someone else.

This would be peak Everton to swap a striker for a DM when we desperately need goals!
