Good. He was a great prospect but clearly can't stay fit.The rumour mill down here is that he is probably going to end up at West Ham.

Down where? The rumour mill down here is that he is probably going to end up at West Ham.
I'm on the South Coast mateDown where?
Well...Si.I'm on the South Coast mate
It will come down to his fitness at the end of the day, if we decide to keep Patterson then given his record with injuries taking someone like Lamptey might be a risk.Well...Si.
The rumour is up here,He's coming to Everton.
Am on the banks of River Meerzzy
I like him but would it just be another injury prone RB to add to the 15 injured RBs in the squad? It will come down to his fitness at the end of the day, if we decide to keep Patterson then given his record with injuries taking someone like Lamptey might be a risk.

Still would be after Angel Gomes on a free would be a tough sell to get him here. Then have seen links to lamptey who i am not to sure about, also think the lad at palace Mitchell is on a free at the end of the seqson

That's a decent list

Interesting thoughts Zat.Wouldnt go near Lamptey.
Gomes is interesting simply because Carsley picked him out having used him for the u21s. Though I dont think he holds a candle to Wharton for example.
Mitchell looked ace when he came through, not sure whats happened there. 26 in September and only 2 England caps 2 years back...its odd seeing as thats a weak area for England..
Who'se that Palace fan on here, forgot their username...
I reckon signings will depend on any new manager style and that will depend on the DOF...and who knows who that would be!
I'd go Thelwell 3 more years & McKenna as manager.
Decent as Keane is on it?
Hopefully so.
Interesting today seeing Thelwell talking about investing into recruitment and the youth teams.
Also separately Armstrong & Dixon name checked as two players we have high hopes for.
Yeah it is would take that Nørgaard from brentford aswell me is a decent playerPremier League - End of contract 2025

Same would rather walker petters if honest csn play rb/lb while lamptey with not just his injuries i would question if just a wb not a rb. Wharton is a good player but so is gomes esp for a free transfer would be the type of cm we need here who csn actually keep hold of the ballWouldnt go near Lamptey.

I disagree with you on Gomes. If you are a team that wants to play possession football a player like him is instrumental in knitting defence and midfield.
Technically he is excellent but his size I against him and in my opinion is the only area where Wharton is the better footballer.
I also like Mitchell. I can't see it happening but I'd be delighted to pick up either or preferably both on frees.
Di Matteo cannot be considered a flop either.I personally liked Ravenelli & Di Canio.
Forres Mechanics…..not sure we’ll have much option than to keep Patterson, I doubt there’ll be any offers this side of his contract running down. He could eventually end up back with a Scottish club.
The top 2 yeahWouldn't be too sure about that.

Just dont think we could afford wharton be similar to what they have done with ghuei and will want what we sell branthwaite for with not really a difference. Yes would be a player i would be after just at this time we cant really need to be getting them in earlySince our first links to him I've always said (many others disagreed) that Wharton looks the part to me. He's also only turning 21 in early Feb and theres a lot more to come from him I think.
Gomes 25 end of August and while he looks like he'd be a great pickup on a free -- is he going to be a standout in the premier league? Thats the risk on big wages rather than spending big on Wharton.
Mitchell i just think it disappointing that he hasnt seemed to fulfill the early promise.
Regarding signings, I think rather than looking at this summers out of contract players it may be more prudent to look at summer 2026:
Contracts expiring

We should have some cash to play with under TFG and there may be some decent players with 1 year left that we could attract.
Though, as an example of who I'd be after its the future right side for Italy with these two:
