I agree, looked the real deal not so long ago. Reckon Moyes could get a tune out of him, still really young and plenty of upside.

I'm not overly confident with Moyes and his choices attackers with this club. But Ferguson season or so back looked nailed on to go to a top club.

In our situation, one simply doesn't go with what one's already got. That's relegation waiting to happen if we pick up 1-2 more serious injuries. Can anybody counter that argument? I don't think so.

Come to a reasonable understanding with Brighton and buy him. We're not a club in competition with them for a Euro spot, so they should be willing to cut a deal.

If they were willing to sell, a loan with an obligation to buy is a way of getting over psr. They get their money over time and we get to push out the transfer fee. Lots of clubs are doing it. Same way Maupay is on loan to Marseille with an obligation to buy in the summer, it's basically a permanent transfer

Dave you have little time for the owners, the manager, the fans, half the players, moan about just about anything to do with the ground. Sometimes wonder why you support Everton at all.

Well let's look at this objectively: I want Everton to be the best...so why should I be happy with "the owners, the manager, half the players..." etc etc?

Igamane would be a risk but for £12m we would get most of that back if he bombed and ended up in the championship for example.

I'd prefer if he had a decent record at another club as well.

I wouldn't be totally opposed at that type of fee and it would represent a huge profit for Rangers. It's just one of those scenarios where you just decide to go for it, particularly if there is competition. £12m would be the absolute height of what he should go for though and paying on the drip with incentives would mean a pretty cheap deal all round.

I live down here on the South Coast. Its well known round here that there have been issues and there has been some hint of it in certain media. As for the manager thing, well I will counter that by saying the previous manager (De Zerbi) had issues with him also and they were publicised, so that's 2 different managers that seemingly have/have had an issue with the player. I get why all the Irish fans want to defend him and refuse to believe it but as I have said before Brighton is an enticing place for the younger ones and it has a seedy underbelly to it, plenty have fallen foul of the 24hr lifestyle and crazy nightlife which exists there, if we were just talking about some random student nobody would bat an eyelid but because he is a footballer people don't want to believe its true.

I just think they may want to keep hold of him longer term on the hopes he gets his head sorted on loan. The permanent fee would be huge you’d imagine. For all the issues he’s had recently, don’t think they or anyone else has forgotten the potential and form behind showed a few years back. He’s still super young

I don't think we should be paying anything near that amount imo considering how much they paid for him in the summer. Not like he has set the world alight
