Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

To be honest, Everton don’t leak more or less than any other club generally speaking. The major reason it’s been a quiet January transfer wise is because we have not been ‘close’ to signing anyone. Without wishing to sound patronising in anyway mate, the football world is quite small and people often at clubs or agencies know what other people/clubs are doing. It doesn’t mean that club is then leaky. Let’s hope for a positive few days!

Wrexham’s 5 th choice striker, Sam Dalby , is top goalscorer in the league on loan to Dundee United , 11or 12 goals I can’t remember, £300 k would buy him. Goals scored in the SPL can definitely be a misleading figure. He scored against Rangers last weekend.

Yeah I think many people don't realise just quite how bad the standard of Scottish football is.

About 6/7 years ago Salford bought Adam Rooney from Aberdeen, who was at the time the SPL top scorer I think, to play in the English National league.

He went from the Scottish premier to the English National league and didn't really look out of place. They sold him to Solihull the season after.

We should be no where near this Igamane wagon

I remember us bidding for Marcus Rojo on 2 separate deadlines as some sort of consolation signing, and failed on both occasions.

I appreciate what you've done throughout the years, but I think it's unprofessional of a Club to have so many . Obviously in this day and age it's extremely difficult to keep news quiet .

I'm not sure I'd say he was a great signing but he was decent. Of course there will be good ones every now and then. I'm not saying they're all garbage obviously.

But this Igamane kid has shown nothing to suggest he'll be anything above championship level. And £25m would be absolute robbery.

Looking at the lad from Rangers and Castro. Ings, Longstaff and Willian all offered around the circuit no idea if that means we are looking at them.

Castro is the one that interests me.

Youtube comp that was posted in here for him the other day doesnt seem like a real reflection of where he's at currently to me. Here's him getting 3 assists and a goal in a Copa Italia game earlier this season.
