What is "a number of weeks"? Why cant they ever tell any useful info about injuries?

As far as I was aware both "2" and "763" are a number of weeks.

As far as I was aware both "2" and "763" are a number of weeks.

Just me but as they've haven't said "a number of months" - a minimum 2 - then it's under that threshold - 6-7 weeks. But in these cases how long is a piece of string.

Btw I won't try to defend any player , but find it poor that any of them start getting labelled with the stuff being put on the Internet without any real substance.

Wowsers what? Steady on?! What on earth are you talking about?! I meant issues like between him and Brighton, not an issue like that he’s a coke head. I thought the bit where I said I had no idea about that would have given that away to be honest but I should know better by now. My only point was that Brighton have made it clear there have been concerns about him, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t start afresh somewhere else.

I’d say 4 weeks back on the grass, 2 more to get fully fit, another 3 weeks as it’s Dom and he’ll have a setback. Add that to the ‘it’s Everton’ factor and you have your total:

37 weeks.

To me if you were to say "hes out weeks" it means its under a month. But "a number of weeks" just seems a weird pointless phrase, when "2-3 weeks" or "at least a month" would do.

Because if they said 3 weeks everyone would be kicking off if he wasn’t back on the 21st day. It’s pretty standard and obvious really.

Every single human body is different, every single injury takes a different time with any 1 person.

It baffles me why people want precise timeframes, they cant give 1.

Next time you have surgery, I want you to DEMAND that the surgeon gives you an exact recovery time, see what he says.

I wouldn't say either of these are out and out strikers. more anywhere across the front types or even a bit deeper, Pedro is another who is also fairly injury prone.
