Yes, stability and development. Club hopping absolutely ruins players, why would he move from a place that loves him just to join a random Prem team (as that’s what he gets linked with most)?

Maybe, but he has been linked with a variety of CL clubs in recent seasons but they never seem to take that final step that's all.

I imagine there's probably about 20 million reasons in the back pocket for it when he's a free agent and can command a huge contract.

I don't think anyone thought a player like that would ever sit it out this long in France given some of the names he has been linked with in the past, fair play to him he probably deserves his big wedge and move.
